At Guitar Tuition Perth lessons are designed to accommodate all levels of playing ability from beginner to advanced and we cover all genres of music, including rock, pop, jazz, latin and funk. Your progress is supported by customised and informative lessons, making learning fun.
We provide quality, structured lessons for both electric and acoustic guitar. Steve is a fully qualified educator with vast experience working in the music industry. Steve's approach to tuition is both professional and friendly, making lessons constructive, informative and fun for all of our students.

Steve has played the guitar from a young age, receiving his first electric guitar at the age of 11. By 13 he was in a band, playing a number of shows and hasn’t stopped since. He enrolled at the highly regarded music course at Perth College and eventually became a lecturer there, specialising in guitar performance and music theory.
Performing in numerous bands including heavy rock covers group, ‘Kick’, Steve has toured extensively through Scotland. This great practical experience along with his broad technical knowledge inspired Steve to provide guitar lessons. Like many of his influences Steve works hard to keep up his own practice regime, ensuring that he demonstrates a well-disciplined attitude to all of his students.

Steve is a fantastic tutor. Not only has he developed my practical skills as a guitarist, I've also gained a thorough understanding of the instrument through his music theory lessons.
